I was so relieved when they finally fixed that issue. Unfortunately the 'dmg' file doesn't give a file version string. I then tried downloading a fresh/new installer of Amazon Music for Mac from the Amazon UK website this evening. The file info for the 'Amazon Music.app' file shows v8.3.0.Īnyway, tonight just trying to open Amazon Music causes both my monitors to go black followed by a restart and Apple error message. I think there may have been an auto-update for it last week. I was using Amazon Music in the past couple of weeks without issues. I've had four crashes & auto-restarts this evening, each time related to trying to open or install Amazon Music for Mac. ![]()
